Last summer, a select group of Kittsville students completed an exciting and intensive 6 weeks summer dance camp at the Lula Washington Dance Theatre School.  The LWDT is a creative partner we've worked with in the past which which continues to prove to be a fantastic fit for Kittsville fulfilling the KYF vision.

Kittsville students continue their creative work again this year at the LWDT School. New scholarship students are participating in an additional parnership with Kittsville through Eartha Robinson's t
he H.E.ART Heartfelt Education through the Arts program.

Our scholarship recipients come from under-served areas, and having access to opportunities like the summer dance camp at LWDT and H.E.ART programs, helps them to realize their potential. It also inspires and empowers them to go after their dreams.

If you haven't done so already, please consider giving a monetary donation to help our on-going cultural arts program and scholarships.

Every donation, of any amount, helps!

Introducing Our New Fiscal Sponsor

10/5/2019

We are happy to announce that Kittsville Youth Foundation has fiscal sponsorship with ART ACTIVE, INC., a nonprofit tax-exempt organization that was created in 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. With mindfulness at its core, ART ACTIVE, INC. "provides youth ages 6-24 in under-served communities the opportunity to learn various forms of artistry while being trained by professional artists." We, on the Kittsville Youth Foundation Team, are extremely grateful for all the ways in which they are helping us!

We are also thankful for our partnerships with other cultural arts organizations (including but not limited to Lula Washington Dance Theatre, The H.E.ART (Heartfelt Education through the Arts), Viver Brasil Dance Company, and JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble.) These kinds of alliances can and do enable us to achieve Kittsville’s organizational vision to cultivate excellence and responsibility in youth through dance while providing exposure to multiple art genres (music, theatre, visual arts) that encourage exploration, discovery, and personal growth.   At the core of every experience, youth develop discipline, focus, self esteem, pride, and dignity that empowers them to reach their full potential.
